Love the method of display - easy to change the picture on a day-to-day accomplishment basis.

Maya's lion costume - I think, if I remember correctly, Mandy (her Momma) borrowed it from the grandmother of Maya's older half-brother. (Talk about one big mixed-up family here, we got it!)

Around these parts, with a costume like that, all she'd needed to go with it would have been a navy blue and white scarf or little hat and she could have been portraying the "Nittany Lion!" Yay, yay! Go Lions Go! (She knew the Penn State "WE ARE!" cheer last year so she could have really played the part, huh?)

Hi there,

Thank you for posting over on my blog and I had to come and check out your Connor and his story. I feel a tremendous sense of happiness in seeing what he is accomplishing.

I chuckled at seeing his handwritten name...my older son is just now practicing how to write his name too and we were working on it this afternoon.

I'll continue to check in.

I particularly like that he's smiling underneath the scribble ;-) Quite expressive.

Hope your day is a peaceful one!

Just to be clear, the name and I imagine the smiley face too were done hand over hand, but I am proud non the less.
